Niceforo C. Rios returned from his tour with the U S Army in 1962. Began his employment with A. Herrera where he honed his skill as a diamond setter and designer in the Burkburnett building in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Herrera sold him the business and he moved in 1967 to the ground floor at 106 east Fourth Street. In July of 1981 he had a new free standing building built at 3601 Airport Freeway. That location is still current today. Custom made jewelry and expert repair are founding principles of which Rios Jewelers operate still today.
